These are custom chrome plated 316 stainless sheet metal screws with tin-cobalt RoHS compliant chrome plate finish, with the 316 stainless steel designated by a dot on the head of each screw. Like the other custom tin cobalt chrome plated screws, these type A 12-11 X 1-1/4 phil pan sheet metal screws are manufactured overseas and supplied to our long time customer on a revolving blanket purchase order basis. The tin cobalt chrome plating is done in a barrel plate format for improved cost efficiency while still producing a very attractive cosmetic finish. Tin cobalt finish typically provides a slightly duller chrome finish than the traditional hexavalent chromium plating. All the custom tin cobalt plated parts we supply are electroplated with a bright nickel under-plate for improved longevity and appearance.

These chrome plated phil pan hi-lo screws were manufactured overseas at approximately 50,000 pcs and supplied to our customer on a revolving blanket purchase order basis. They measure #10-16 X 3/4" and are identical outside of the length to the #10-16 X 1/2 version we have supplied for a number of years already. 316 stainless steel material is used for optimal corrosion resistance, which is further enhanced with the chrome plating for use in highly corrosive environments.

This custom dowel pin is made to print using common alloy steel material with both sides chamfered and has a diameter of .25". Overall length is set at .340 inches +/- .001 and production was done domestically in the USA at approximately 30,000 pcs.

We supplied our customer that manufactures fire pump equipment with these custom 17-4ph precision dowel pins using 100% domestic production with DFARS compliant raw material and full certs - material certs, heat treat certs, and a certificate of conformance. The pins were produced to a diameter of .1249-.1251" and overall length of .670-.675" with equal spherical radii on both sides. Parts went through heat treatment to achieve the Rc36 hardness minimum requirement.

We had 50,000 pcs of these custom 316L socket screws produced domestically for our action sports product customer. Our goal was to recreate a 70 degree taper on the head profile originally accomplished using a machined secondary process. The hardness of 316L stainless steel material made this is outcome difficult to achieve using a cold heading process. After numerous test runs and adjustments the production team was able to achieve the desired result at last.

These custom trim aluminum diecast fittings for our lighting fixture customer were manufactured using ADC12 Aluminum Alloy material with plain finish. Overall diameter measured 5.75" and the inside opening diameter measured 2.55". 2,500 pieces were produced in the first production run and a small partial was provided prior to the full balance.

These custom bent steel zinc washers were manufactured for our specialty OEM manufacturer using mild steel ranging in thickness from 1.8-2.0MM - the edges of the bent washer are actually used to clamp down the assembly so the thickness had to be just right to allow the application of the needed force without flattening out. The top level dimensions of the rectangular shape are 23.7 X 44.8MM with a +/-.5MM tolerance and the inside drilled hole measures 8.5MM in diameter.

These are custom combo drive machine screws measuring 10-32 X 3/8. They are manufactured domestically using steel zinc material with production runs typically at 200,000 to 250,000. We stock and release this part to our long time OEM customer with revolving annual blanket purchase orders.

This custom composite cork stamped part is made to our customer's drawing at .062 thickness and .63 diameter, and is manufactured domestically in the United States. Lead time is typically 6-8 weeks for new production.

We had 5,000 pieces of these custom countersunk double end studs manufactured for our customer that specializes in frozen drink equipment production. 304 stainless steel material was used and the thread was cut on both sides. Overall length was 41.66MM +/- 0.5 and both threaded sides incorporated 5/16-18 2A thread, at 10.16MM and 15.24MM in length accordingly. At the maximum diameter point the countersunk shoulder reaches 11.18MM +/-0.2.

At first glance these custom deep recess phillips drive screws seem like ordinary sheet metal screws. For the most part that is true - the Type A thread and head dimensions are essentially per IFI specs without any modifications. A closer look however will reveal a significantly deeper recess in the phillips drive. Standard #8 phillips drive for a pan head reaches a depth of .108" while this custom part has a recess depth of .120" to .122" - a significant difference when it comes to improved engagement and faster/easier use on the production floor. This improvement in speed and engagement was the main driver behind our customer's request for this modified sheet metal screw, particularly important when some of the depth is used for paint when the screw heads are painted a variety of different colors.

We had 100 pieces of these custom double thread hardened turnbuckle studs produced for our customer in 4140 steel material, hardened to 45-48 HRC. Local induction heat hardening was performed at the longer hex key, targeting 53-57 HRC. 3/8-24 UNJF 2A thread was rolled with right hand thread on one side and left hand thread on the other. Overall length was to be between 10.33" and 10.38", with the unthreaded portion diameter between .345" and .375".

These are custom electronics standoffs we supplied to our customer at just 10,000 pcs for testing purposes. 2-56 thread was incorporated to run all the way through the part measuring 0.32" in overall length. The thicker portion of the custom standoff measures .13 inches, with the diameter at .22 inches. Its thinner section has a diameter of .14 inches.

These are custom extra long hex bolts we have supplied our customer for many years, with shipments of approx 20,000 pcs at a time every 2-3 years. 307A steel material is used with zinc clear finish and all parts are manufactured overseas. 1.5" to 1.688" of thread is rolled on each part and the hex head height is set to .226-.268 inches. R0.01-0.03 underneath the head is critical for our customer's application, allowing the head to lay as flat as possible against the mating part.

We supply our diverse customer base countless special made flat washers, mostly on blanket as-released purchase order basis. This is a custom 304 stainless steel flat washer made in the USA to an inside diameter of .600, outside diameter of .872, and thickness of .047 inches.

We have supplied these custom grade 5 hex cap screws to our customer for well over 10 years. The parts are manufactured domestically, with production runs typically covering 50,000 pieces at a time. The shoulder is critical on these parts, set at .312" in diameter +/- .005" and at 1/4" in length. Head dimensions slightly off the standard for this size and the finish is black oxide and light oil.

We supply our customer base a large number of different thread forming screws like these custom hex washer head trilobular screws manufactured overseas in Taiwan. They measure 10/32 X 1/2 and are made using 410 stainless steel with heat treat for additional hardness and passivation to complete the production process. Production is typically run at 100,000 pieces and we supply it to our long time OEM customer using 12 month blanket purchase orders.

These custom knurled nylon insert lock nuts were manufactured using SAE J995 class 8 material with zinc clear finish. 3/8-24 internal thread was incorporated with a 45 degree chamfer and a .551-.562 across the flats hex was formed over the nylon insert. Overall length measured at .519 +/-.03" and the knurled portion measured approximately .34" in length.

These custom lag thread bent anchors were manufactured for a woodworking company in Hawaii that required lag screw thread on the long leg and a cosmetically appealing zinc clear finish. CD-C1018 material was used at a 1/4" in diameter, with a 90 degree bend. The short leg measured 3/4" in length on the inside and the long leg at 5" overall including the 3/4" of lag screw thread.

These custom low hex head grade 5 bolts were manufactured at 30,000 pieces for our long time customer, with zinc clear finish. Fully threaded with 1" of 5/8-11 thread pitch these parts came with a low hex head measuring .291-.316" in height and .922-.936" across the flats. A 15-30 degree standard chamfer was added around the corners and flats.

We had tens of thousands of these custom low profile serrated flange nuts manufactured for our construction customer using Grade 5 steel material with Dacromet zinc flake finish. 1"-8 thread was tapped with 2B thread fit prior to plating and the low profile height was set to .437" max. Flange diameter was set to 1.46-1.50", which is to standard 1" diameter flange nut specifications.

Our customer was in urgent need when she ordered this custom machined aluminum hardware and was having a hard time finding anyone that could maintaining a fast turnaround. We were able to come to the rescue 16 day production time span to get the parts completed. This was done without an additional rush charge that could further cut this lead time to 1 week. 6061 aluminum material was used and M6-1.0 male and internal thread was incorporated on all the components. The parts with the male thread included a slotted drive on the head, which is absent on the other two accompanying parts.

These are custom machined nylon pins we supply our industrial OEM customer. They are manufactured overseas with a lead time of approximately 120 days from approved drawing/print. Overall length is set at 1/2" and the OD drops from 5/16" on one side to 3/16" on the other narrow side. The machined convex portion measures approximately 5/16 inches in length, leaving approximately 3/16 inches on the 5/16" OD section. Plain acetal material was used without any dye. Annual revolving blanket purchase orders are used with monthly releases - estimated annual usage is at 60,000 pcs.

These custom metric button socket cap screws are made using alloy steel material at 32-36 HRC with black oxide finish. The head diameter is 5.7MM and head height at 1.65MM, with a 2.0MM hex drive size. The overall length underneath the head is set at 6MM, of which 2.5MM is designed to be the un-threaded shoulder. Cold heading process was used to shape the head and the thread was rolled for optimal strength.

This particular custom compression spring is US made to 1/2" and 3/4" overall length to meet the customers specific product needs. Typical lead time on special springs manufactured domestically is 8-10 weeks.

These are custom partially knurled pins made using plain low carbon steel material. One side is threaded at 6-32 with approximately .375 inches of thread while the other is diamond knurled at .20 inches max. Overall length is set at .855 inches. Production was done domestically at approximately 1,000 pieces.

These custom precision steel pins were manufactured domestically for our customer involved in water treatment product manufacturing. 1018 CRS material was used with plain finish. The drive-less head measures .060" in height and .290" for the diameter, +/-.005". The shoulder portion was the most critical with a diameter of .195" +/- .001" and a slight 45 deg by .02" chamfer. Overall length of the shoulder shaft was set to .460". Production is typically done at 5,000 pieces at a time.

We supply a number of PVDF pin parts like this 1/16 X .415 version to a customer that deals largely with water treatment applications. Together with a variety of other special hardware parts we supply this special pin on an annual blanket as-released purchase order basis. This is a small custom 4-40 X 5/16 copper machine screw manufactured domestically using copper 110 material. While rush order options are typically available the standard lead time on 10,000 piece production runs of this part are in the 6-8 week range.

These are custom small u bolts we supplied to our customer at approximately 16,000 pcs. The 1/4-20 thread was rolled per customer specifications and the zinc plating was done to QQ-Z-325. Width between the legs is set at 1.060 inches before the extended rolled thread, outside length at 1.84 inches, and thread length at .62 inches. Material was .217-.213 diameter 1010 steel per ASTM A108.

These are custom socket head screws with a low profile head measuring .270 X .078 inches, made in the USA using 303 stainless steel material. The thread incorporated is 8-32 at 7/8" in length, with the remainder of the length as an un-threaded shoulder. The point on these custom socket bolts has a machined socket drive matching the hex drive on the low profile head. These unique custom screws were produced in under one week for our customer's urgent needs.

These custom stainless binding posts were manufactured domestically to our customer's drawing using 18-8 stainless steel material. 8-32 female thread is incorporated with the shoulder diameter at .250" and shoulder length at .250" as well. The dome head was made to a diameter of .406" and head height of .060". For the final application we provided this part with both custom painted heads to match the color and also with black oxide finish.

These are custom stainless double end studs we provide our long time customer on a recurring basis, typically with production runs of approximately 300 pcs. They are made domestically using 304 stainless steel material. Pictured here is the threaded stud with it's mating part. The thread on one side measures .875" in length and approximately .687" on the other. The unthreaded shoulder is 1/2" diameter and the overall length of the stud is set at 2-3/8".

Pictured here is one of the custom stainless steel standoffs we supply our drone manufacturing customer. Production is done in the USA in 18-8 stainless steel material, with passivation as the final step in the production process. Lead times vary depending on the quantity required and rush options are typically available upon request. When usage volumes exceed 25K pieces or so we typically switch production to one of our overseas partners to optimize cost per piece.

We had these custom tapered grade 5 socket head screws produced for our sports product manufacturing customer with black oxide finish. 10-32 2A thread was rolled at a length of .36 +/- .03" and the head height was set to .14". Head diameter was designed for .286" +/- .01" and a 1/8" hex socket drive was cold formed.

These custom stamped brackets were manufactured using tempered .063" thick steel sheet material for our specialty OEM customer. A number of features were incorporated, from .126" diameter round openings to 4-40" thread tapped holes. Overall length was 1.45" and the brackets were finished with black oxide (commercial spec) prior to packaging.

We supplied our high performance bicycle manufacturing customer these custom torx drive grade 5 titanium screws as an alternative to the traditional A4-80 material option. The titanium material version offered great weight to strength ratio and also superior cosmetic options with the variety of anodizing colors. The screws incorporated rolled M5 coarse thread at a length of .709" underneath the head.

This particular special thread forming part measures 10-24 X 3.19" and is manufactured to print overseas in Taiwan in steel/zinc; it is then supplied to our customer on an as-released blanket purchase order basis.

These custom unique thread pitch screws were one of the stranger projects that we came across - it was the first time in over 20 years that someone requested a 3/8-20 thread pitch. We had the custom screws manufactured domestically using 18-8 stainless steel material. The lead time was at approximately 4 weeks from order confirmation.

Measuring 8-32 X 5/8 and 6-32 X 1/4 both are made using Invar 36 material with a vent drilled hole running the full length of the screw. Invar 36 material has a very low level of thermal expansion and is typically used for applications where dimensional changes due to temperature variation must be minimized as much as possible. The hex socket drive was broached for both parts, in lieu of a cold headed alternative.

Some years ago our customer approached us with the task of creating this self piercing screw for a specialized assembly application. It has since become a consistent item we carry to ensure adequate supply for their need at all times. The part is a modified truss head self tapping type A screw, with a phillips drive. Measuring 9-9 X 1-5/8 in length this part is a special screw manufactured to print using 18-8 stainless steel, followed by a passivation process.

These orange painted sheet metal screws are one of the brighter and more colorful painted screws we supply our customer base. Most of the painted screws are in more subdued varieties of white, grey, and brown to match a variety of paneling used by our customers in their respective assembly lines. The base screw itself is a standard off the shelf 18-8 stainless steel #8 X 3/4" type A sheet metal screw. Lead time for this color is similar to the others at 2-3 weeks from order confirmation but an expedited processing option is typically available upon request.
