As you can see in the print below, which continues for another 4 pages of specifications, these shear bolts are a tough part to make. 5/16-24 thread pitch is used for the threaded section, with a thread locking patch. A286 material is used to make the part, with heat treat and passivation per AMS 2700. The lead time was quite lengthy for these parts at close to 20 weeks and full certs were provided to comply with our customer's requirements.
